
Agriculture South Africa (AgriSA) and The Banking Association South Africa (BASA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that provides for the associations to jointly identify initiatives and projects that will have a positive contribution to agriculture and banking in South Africa. The associations will work together on industry standards and regulatory reforms that support agriculture financing and land reform, among others. The memorandum was signed by the Managing Director of BASA, Bongiwe Kunene and the Chief Executive Officer of AgriSA, Johann Kotzé. Representatives of AgriSA and BASA, as well as other stakeholders, were in attendance.
