The Banking Association South Africa (BASA) presented to a joint meeting of the Portfolio Committee on Trade, Industry and Competition and the Standing Committee on Finance, on 04 February 2025. The presentation dealt with transformation in the financial sector, empowerment, financial technology, account closures, unfair discrimination and Islamic Banking.
